Treatment can usually continue with a practice near your new home. Tell us as soon as you have a date. We prepare your records, X-rays, scans and treatment notes, with a summary of where treatment is up to, so the next clinician starts with the full picture. It is also worth asking at your consultation how fees work if you leave mid-treatment, so that is clear before you start.

Often, yes. Bring whatever you have: the transfer letter, your original plan, recent X-rays and any aligners you have not used yet. Dr Anand Srinivasa will examine where things stand, explain what finishing involves and give you a written quote before anything changes. Braces fitted elsewhere can sometimes stay on; sometimes they are replaced, and you will know why.

It can. If a move is likely within a year or two, we weigh how long each option would take and how easily another practice could continue it. Invisalign® cases can usually be transferred to another Invisalign provider, and braces can be continued elsewhere, though some practices change brackets to their own system. Sometimes the sensible answer is to wait until after the move.

Usually, with some planning. Aligners can suit irregular schedules, because several sets may be issued at once to cover a longer gap between visits when the case allows. Braces need regular adjustments, so we plan those around known rosters and absences, with Saturday times available. Roughly a third of our orthodontic patients are adults, so fitting treatment around work is routine here.
